Has anyone had a tight band feeling after total knee replacement?

Hi sorry to hear about your problems. I have had both knees replaced and was very hard for months after surgery. But all of a sudden things got better and now I can walk and hike with almost no pain at all. One knee especially is very sensitive to touch but only if bump into something or my dog decides to stand on it
But it really does get better. So glad I got them done but the first 6 months was a struggle

@cheris its good to hear there may be light at the end of the tunnel. I'm 4 months out from my LTKR and frustrated at the slow progress especially the tight band problem which became noticeable at week three and got worse through and after outpatient PT. I saw my OS last week and he said that "it is not uncommon but it is usually resolved by month 3, and if not, it may take a year to resolve". Not what I wanted to hear, but I wasn't surprised after doing research here and elsewhere. I'm just hopeful I will get to the day when I can say that the TKR was a good idea.
