Why do I become tired if using other antidepressant; the chemical is THE SAME but I feel tired when moving to other brand!! My first antidepressant is unavailable in the pharmacy so I purchased the same chemical under other brand name. Yesterday I took my first dose. Now I felt headache, dizziness, negative thinking and despair!! I have already purchased the the first brand I was using, but I am still wondering and need help.

@jakedduck1 My platelets are normal now. Phew. Cirrhosis really messes with so many things. I was down around 60,000, sometimes as low as 40,000, but now they are where they should be.
I have not met my donor's family but have had communication with them and her parents were very forthcoming. I almost wish I had not had communication because knowing more about my donor has made me feel terrible that she passed away. I pray for her widower and her father every night. Her mother passed away last year so her poor father had two deaths to deal with in less than two years. Very sad.

Because of their giving to you their loss is mitigated knowing that part of her lives on and her death, as hard on them as it was, wasn't a waste because of the lives that were saved in her passing. I'm sorry I didn't put that very eloquently but you do hear people say someone's death was such a waste. Her legacy was saving lives. That's pretty special.

@pearlbaby7 I have heard that for the donor's loved ones it can be helpful knowing that others did benefit from the death. It still is difficult though, particularly when the donor, as in my donor's case, passed away due to hospital mismanagement. It hurts my heart to think of her and of them. She was only 34 at the time of her death.

I understand. But what you have to hold onto are the positive sides of this. 💝

It's very real! Everyone's body and brain react differently to different medications. While your current medication is similar to the other antidepressant it is NOT exactly the same. Some people don't respond well to the generic forms of their antidepressants.
