My under grad degree was in chemistry and spent 16 years in food R/D working for a multinational company before moving into the supply chain/ manufacturing. My first 12 years were in oils and fats products. I try to keep up with the literature but not always successfully. I am presently engaged in pet foods and related products that focus on functional and beneficial ingredients. The pet industry has actually come further along in nutrition than human foods. Thanks.
