Hi,
Well, Brady was with the Patriots for 20 years and they wouldn’t agree to his contract demands and were willing to let him go. I can understand the need to move on. It is his livelihood. I understand he is getting a guarantee of $50 million. Insane money for sports and entertainment figures but that’s a whole other non medical conversation.

And the Bucs are a team so it’s not all just Brady. He’s getting older so we will see how well he holds up. You guys had him in his prime.
So now he is in a warmer climate for his older bones and he gets to eat our famous grouper sandwiches and key lime pie. He’ll probably open a restaurant if he hasn’t already. And he will be a retiree in the not too distant future and will need our warm climate (although he may hate practicing in the humidity).
We welcome him and, if the Bucs do beat KC ( heck of a good team), it won’t just be because of him.

FL Mary

@imallears I think it's more that he and Belichick weren't getting along than the money. Brady got a big head over the years and lost respect for the coaches. It certainly is not that he needs the money, and his wife has more than he does.

I guess the warm climate might be appealing, he is originally from San Mateo, CA and the weather is fairly mild there. I have a friend who lives in San Mateo. Still, as a New Englander, he is a turncoat.

This probably is not a discussion for here though.
