These are the two best pans I have big pot and a large skillet with those little handles on the sides. Kind of deep they are made by Calphalon. Are those two good? It’s not for me but the guy who is coming, he enjoys cooking, the dang fool.

@jakedduck Those look like good pans. I too have Calphalon and I like it. If you need to buy more and can't get to a Marshall's, TJ Maxx or Home Goods, they do sell online too. The young people seem to really like the pans that are copper colored and are non-stick, and they are not too pricey.

@jakedduck1 You might want to chat with person who's coming to cook.

Those are good. Get a couple of smaller skillets with one handle...one about 6 inches so you could do a fried egg in and another larger one also with one handle. Those don’t have to be deep. Maybe 3 different sizes of pots other than the big one. Also maybe a universal lid for the skillets...doesn’t have to fit snug.
You can get all non stick but you still have to wash them briefly even if you wiped them out like I do. They are still contaminated with food even after you swipe a paper towel over them. Sad but true.
I bought 2 Italian skillets in Marshall’s...they have speckled pattern....the smaller one is nice and heavy and has held up beautifully.
The larger one was lighter and that one I have to be careful of. I also use a medium size cast iron one by Emeril that I use when I really want to sear something. That is a workhouse.

What fun....shopping for the kitchen! I’m so jealous.
