@lioness, My Osterizer came with a second, much smaller container but in one move or another it got lost. I have to be very careful using the standing veggie shredder because more than once, I've scraped knuckles grating carrots. Eventually stuffed a new garden glove into the top of shredder to store with it. For sure, I'd do damage using a mandolin!
