@fiesty76 Virtually all cooked foods are high in sodium, as is most restaurant food. I have not been eating a lot of sodium for years and when I was a manager at an Inn here in town that had a renowned restaurant I even found that to be very noticeably salty for me. I too sometimes purchase rotisserie chicken, I like them because I get at least one dinner for the two of us out of one and then leftover chicken to put on top of luncheon salads.

@contentandwell, Hi, JK, yes, after I really started restricting and limiting salt in my diet, I soon started finding most restaurant meals too salty. I eat most salads without salad dressings and rinse many canned foods as well. The same thing occurred when I reduced the amount of sugar in my diet. Suddenly, those luscious iced cakes and some candies were just too sweet. Our bodies can adjust but always having a sweet tooth, I never expected the day to come when anything would taste too sweet for me.
