Yes, I correspond daily with a friend who lives alone in a multi-family, hi-rise condo in the Queens. She is being so cautious even when going to her community mailbox only 2/week and no longer uses the comm. laundry room. It breaks my heart that the Gov was pleading for help so long before feds actually began taking him seriously.

You are a good friend checking up on a queens friend. New York is in deep trouble, and I feel so bad every time I see governor A. Cuomo on t.v.
I have some latest info. That may interest you.
New Jersey has 30,000 cases and as of today Friday over 600 deaths. It is catching up to New York.
Also of interest,HENAM a mid size city in central China is on lockdown as they contend with a 2nd wave of the cov19 virus.
It is too early to tell if we will get a 2nd wave next October 2020.
Abbott labs is putting out as many tests as possible. The company is under tremendous pressure.
We all need to stay home, stay safe, and be well.
