Recipes, Food Tips, Healthy Eating & More
Some of the members of the Gratitude Discussion Group were interested in having a place to share recipes and food ideas. I’m hoping that we can use this thread as a place to have that kind of discussion. I’d love to hear your ideas for quick meals, comfort food, healthy snacks, and more.
Personally, I’ve just been through a bad reaction to one of my medications that left me with a very queasy stomach. I would love to hear ideas – or recipes – that might be used when you need to get something on your stomach, but don’t want to overdo it.
Hopefully, this thread will even be a place where we can share recipes for special treats and yummy rewards. It doesn’t always have to be healthy!
I’d love to hear from members who have been part of other discussions AND from new members who have good ideas, recipes and food tips to share. I’m excited to see who might start us off here with an awesome food suggestion!

Hi I’m, Morningstar seems to be everywhere. They’re not the best but with all of the varieties that they make you can pick the favorite of the ones they make
( they have a kale and ? I don’t recall because I never made it but I’ve noticed a few interesting flavors and I’m pretty sure most are 1 min on one side and 30 sec on the other but I always check just to be sure. The quinoa are bigger and they take longer. If your from the south you also know that you can deep fry them. The deep fried ones are on the DEA’s list of highly addictive drugs👅

Oh good grief Leonard. What part of the chicken? Whole, legs, thighs, cutlet, breast with or without bone? Are pork chops thick with bone in(hope so) or no bone and thin or thick. Are they both defrosted already? If so how much of each do you have?
Also why do you buy all this stuff if you don’t want to cook?

@jakedduck1 I was wondering the same thing?
OK.. you all... you got me thinking of pizza and I'm going to post a picture of my meal this past Saturday night. My son and daughter in law where here visiting from Colorado the he made dinner! Pesto sauce, mozzarella, spinach with garlic, sun-dried tomatoes and parmesan. I haven't eaten pizza in an age and it was delicious.
BTW @stuckonu - don't worry about reading 1400 posts! LOL. There are some good recipes on here but sometimes we just pull up chair at the kitchen table and chat in this group. It's a good place to hang out.

Oh for heavens sake, who cares and what difference does it make? The chicken is boneless skinless breasts. The pork doesn’t have bones and I don’t know if they are thick or thin and I don’t really care. If they are thin they cook faster, a plus in my book. I have however much comes in an average size package. I just grab and go. Foolish as it may be I buy it to stay alive but also because I need it to keep my hemoglobin up since I donate Platelets every couple weeks. Also in case a friend drops by there is something for them to cook. Neither are thawed out. I have cereal until I get in the mood to cook which I assure you won’t be anytime soon! I throw a slab of meat in the air fryer occasionally but it doesn’t have any taste.

I’m having iPad problems...That recipe is not my cup of tea. I don’t like to drown food in cheese and I don’t like the taste of canned cheese soup. I don’t use any canned soup for any recipes...honestly just not healthy. It tastes artificial because there are too many additives . That’s just me. Plus I don’t have a slow cooker but it looks easy enough for you. Do you own a slow cooker?

Spoken like a true non cook. Just buy prepared meals or opt for Meals on Wheels instead of making yourself crazy trying to cook when you hate to do so and eating tasteless meals from an air fryer. Why aggregate yourself? You might spend less money in the long run. Then you’ll have more time to send us some more jokes.
