Some of the members of the Gratitude Discussion Group were interested in having a place to share recipes and food ideas. I’m hoping that we can use this thread as a place to have that kind of discussion. I’d love to hear your ideas for quick meals, comfort food, healthy snacks, and more.

Personally, I’ve just been through a bad reaction to one of my medications that left me with a very queasy stomach. I would love to hear ideas – or recipes – that might be used when you need to get something on your stomach, but don’t want to overdo it.

Hopefully, this thread will even be a place where we can share recipes for special treats and yummy rewards. It doesn’t always have to be healthy!

I’d love to hear from members who have been part of other discussions AND from new members who have good ideas, recipes and food tips to share. I’m excited to see who might start us off here with an awesome food suggestion!

@lioness m-m-m-m it all sounds so good! We’re still waiting for our Palisade Peaches to come on, but when they do. . . .! The best sandwich I’ve had was at a food truck party at our park. It was grilled Brie cheese and peaches. So good but I haven’t seen the truck since! 😑

@becsbuddy All this talk of food! I am in the middle of 6 hr fast while preparing for PET CT scan this afternoon. Gotta be strong!

Florida Mary banished me to the kitchen for an hour, I haven’t murdered anyone, robbed a bank or done any other hideous crime to deserve such a severe sentence but while there I broke a dish. Naturally I had already washed and dried the blasted thing. Mary must be a descendent of Bloody Mary. Food is getting scarce so I’m gonna have to bite the bullet and go to the store, but not today.

Don’t mess with us Marys, Jake. If I ever find bug larvae in my chocolate someone will pay!
However, if you are referring to the famous drink...well then...alright..... as long as you don’t forget to pick up the celery when you go shopping.
