@Erinmfs

I'm sad to find out that an 8 oz cup of chai can be loaded with 130 calories! I purchased a chai mix product from the health food store yesterday. This chai is loaded with sugar! More than a soda I'd say. What a bummer, I'll have to take it off my list of 'good stuff' 🙁 Or perhaps I can find a sugar free chai mix.

@Erinmfs Hey Erin I mix my on . Golden milk but use a regular chai tea bag also . I use turmeric,ginger and after its hot pour in Almond milk. No yeast lol

@Erinmfs- Good morning. I have recently started drinking turmeric chai tea made by Rishi. It's excellent and takes just some boiling water and 5 minutes steeping time. It's delicious. Turmeric, in order to "work" need a fat, and pepper. I'm afraid that it'll always be high in calories because of the fat. I do not add any milk, but I do add honey because the pepper can make it taste bitter. Turmeric is a green tea.

Are you interested in a healthier diet? I have also found that this helps give me energy.

@Erinmfs You can buy chai bags that are unsweetened (with regular tea bags) and add whatever you want yourself. I generally drink it plain or with a little creamer. I never add sugar.

@debbraw I don't think I have ever seen wild Atlantic shrimp around here, except for those tiny ones and I don't find them very flavorful. Along with feeling that raw salmon is healthier, I do like the taste better. I splurged yesterday and bought King salmon -- it is usually 29.99 a pound but was on sale for 19.99 a pound. It was so delicious. We usually have coho around here, but in season, now, we have sockeye and King. Both are much better than coho.

I was just thinking yesterday about shrimp vs lobster. I love shrimp too, and definitely as much as lobster.

The fish manager at Whole Foods tells me that their farmed fish is responsibly farmed but I just do not trust it anyway, and I will NEVER eat tilapia. We usually have fish twice a week.
