Hi,
Liver is not for everyone. Bubble and squeak is something you would like. It’s the leftover corned beef, cabbage and potatoes fried up in lots of butter. Welsh rarebit is just melted cheese and onions over toast. Also not everyone likes seafood as you so stated. You are a chore indeed 😏

Did you know there are YouTube instructions on how to cook steak in a toaster? Can’t believe you murdered a fillet mignon (of all cuts) in a toaster ....the horrors! I do think filet mignon is over priced and over rated though, and I prefer the rib eye as it has more flavor and is tender because of the marbling. Perhaps Fido would like rib eye. It makes a great meatball when ground up with other cuts.

Bon appetite and all that
FL Mary

@imallears I eat filet mignon (tenderloin steak) and my husband eats sirloin. I eat it because it has much less fat than sirloin, and rib eye is very fatty, lots of marbling, which of course is what makes it so tasty. I can't afford to eat all of that fat though and I rarely even buy it for my husband. I'm afraid if I did he would always want it but I do worry about the fat.

@debbraw I thought just about all of the shrimp in this country came in frozen, except if you are near the gulf and then they may actually be fresh. Most of the shrimp in the supermarkets is from Asia. I try to buy wild American shrimp when it is available, but I have only seen that frozen.
