Is the person who shops the same person who delivers?
Now all I need is someone to plan and cook them. Any advice???

for me in my area, the shopper has been the same person as the delivery person. They appear to be using their own personal vehicle. They all seem to try to carry absolutely everything at once to the door from their vehicle, it takes me 2-3 trips - lol
Instacart will send you a message and tell you they are on their way, so I wait by the door usually.

I know the feeling about cooking, when I purchase the food, now I have to cook it! I eat alot of sandwiches I've noticed, and I like to use the crockpot and make pot roast or roast beef.

I purchased a bag of frozen salmon fillets, I love to quickly put a salmon filet in the skillet along with some frozen asparagus, it's a quick easy healthy meal. Thaw the salmon filet(s) in the kitchen sink in some water. Cook the asparagus and salmon in olive oil, season with salt, pepper and some dill (roughly 15 minutes). I have some frozen meditteranean veggies that works well with the salmon too (zuchini, yellow squash, pepper medly, frozen).

I also like those chicken cordon bleu from the freezer section. I think I was bad and got a bag of tator tots , so just place the chicken cordon bleu and some tator tots in the oven at 400 degrees according to the package. Have some fruit or a salad.

otherwise, I get a fresh romaine lettuce usually, along with fruits, tomatoes, and I enjoy my tuna salad on sandwiches or with fresh greens.

my tuna salad:
1 large can of tuna in water
2 boiled eggs, chopped
1 stalk of celery chopped
1 small vidalia onion chopped
up to 1/4 cup of dill relish from a jar (I really like pickles)
miracle whip

combine all of the ingredients, and stir in enough miracle whip to make you happy 🙂

I'm assuming you are like me and have to cook for yourself most of the time?

@jakedduck1 Leonard, I would invite you over for a good home-cooked meal if you didn't live 3000 miles away. Do you have neighbors and friends who invite you to dinner? I have been cooking every other week for a couple, the husband is undergoing treatment for cancer and the wife works full time so they are really out-straight. That's very common around here. And they say New Englanders are not friendly. Hmmpffff

@user_chdb5e8ac As someone else commented, I use no prepared foods anymore. When my kids were young they LOVED that frozen chicken cordon bleu. I remember one time I made that and Near East Rice Pilaf, my son was in heaven. He said I was the best cook ever! Now he appreciates my home cooking and when I visit him in Denver I always have to do some cooking. He will be home over next weekend so I will make some of his favorites then.
