@lioness I would be a bit skeptical about spinal cord stimulation also. I just googled it and found many articles out there and the success rate is somewhat dubious. Here is one article from NCBI which is a good source but rather technical:

I'm sorry, but I do not recall what has caused this pain. My brother-in-law had spinal stenosis and did have surgery for it, a laminectomy. He was in the hospital for two nights and it has worked out excellently for him. He had a great surgeon.

@contentandwell Thanks for the articles With the research I've done and you @merry I appreciate it I have a fractured back my L2in 05 it has affected my whole left side Because of my therapy in a turtle shell brace for 3months it has fused my L5,@S1 my sciatica nerve is trapped by bone from the shifting down of my vertabra,s that's causing my burning pain in my thighs surgery maybe required .My cabbag was in 1996 It was triple bypass My Endo was fine ayear ago My protection of my heart is far more important then having an invasive procedure like this. Sorry this is so long . Today I'm going in for a injection and will tell Dr why I don't want this procedure It's to risky In 05 Dr.wanted to do surgery to build up my fracture bone I refused for same reason. Thanks for caring all of you I'm so glad I'm here to talk with such caring people .
