@debbraw I use my slow cooked for this use to have pressure cooker for canning also the only thing you have to do is clean the ring so it seals completely or it will explore I don't know anything about an instal pot just make sure it's well cleaned where it seals up.

I know what you are saying, @contentandwell. I actually have kitchen appliances stored in my bedroom closet because there is no more room in the kitchen. I feel like a kitchen appliance junkie😉
