Update on instapot cooking: I like roasted brussel sprouts better than ones done in the instapot. The positive part was that I put 2 lbs of shaved brussel sprouts in the cooker along with diced apples, dried cranberries, cooked bacon, cider vinegar, maple syrup and olive oil. It took 3 minutes to cook this whole thing perfectly. The downside was that I don't really like that vinegary taste and I hate the cabbage-y smell. It was made worse by the fact that when you vent the steam to let the pressure out, it goes all over the room making a terrible cabbage smell throughout the house. Yuck. I made hotdogs and hamburgers today and postponed my sweet and sour pork til tomorrow. I'll let you know how that comes out. (I don't mind my kitchen smelling like sweet and sour pork!)

Hi @debbraw

You have mentioned before about "shaved brussel sprouts." How do you do this? With a shredder?

@debbraw Hi Debbra, thanks for the posting. I have an instapot but haven’t used it yet. Keep the recipes coming! I don’t know what to do with mine! I’m half scared of it. .......Karen
