@lioness I asked my sister and my daughter about the cause of their vertigo. My sister said they told her it was some "debris" in her ear that moved to the area (middle ear?) that affects balance. My daughter had no idea what caused hers. I can't help but wonder if wearing hearing aids could have contributed to hers, although I have not had that problem and of course I wear hearing aids also.

Sounds like she has a loose canolith (inner ear calcium deposit that helps regulate balance). I've lived with one for years and found it's best to avoid looking way up or down in grocery stores. A loose canolith makes you feel miserable, like the worse case of sea sickness, and the world is spinning. To get back on track I do the canolith maneuver. You can learn more about it on the Mayo website.

@contentandwell I know different people with vertigo. Some of them wear hearing aides. The others have hearing issues. Can’t help but wonder if there is some kind of connection. Hmmm.

@contentandwell I have worn hearing aids for several years I wonder I also have tinnitus Oh it's great to get old we have so many buddies with us haha
