Air frying uses little to no oil. I have a EVO spray bottle that I spray a couple of swigs before I cook. I have cooked frozen meatballs, package chicken tenders, nuggets, etc. I have not cooked a roast or any of that yet, because I'm used to using my slow cooker to make the meat tender. If you like things that are usually fried, it's great. I have also used with all my veggies, whether frozen or fresh and it works wonderfully. It does not cook faster but with less fat. Very easy to clean up (you have the unit, plus the pan to put your food into), I wash the pan by hand because it's easier and I can put the machine back in the cabinet. I hope this helps.
