@yahushua40, Welcome to Connect. I see that you have recently had your 3 year transplant anniversary. Congratulations!

I want to share a link to the Mayo Clinic Patient health Care & Information: Intestional Gas
It says that, "Excess lower intestinal gas can be caused by eating too much of certain foods, by the inability to fully digest certain foods or by a disruption in the bacteria normally found in the colon." Information included is: Foods that cause excess gas, and Digestive disorgers that cause excess gas.

Yahushua, I am wondering if you recently changed your diet? or has there been a change in medications?

I just started eating. With all the meds i am on, it steals my appetite. I drink Ensure but I do eat. Lately I have had a good appetite. I eat a lot of veggies with my meals. I know during my transplant, my gall bladder were removed also. So I don't have a gall bladder. I have smelly odor when I burp. It's not every day or week but when it occurs, it last for a few weeks, about a week or two. I did cut back from drinking a lot of Sodas, and I am working out, exercises, so I am trying to live a healthy life after transplant. And thanks. Do you know if there are liver transplant groups I can attend? I am living in Marietta Ga. Thank you and be blessed
