Hello @anghines, I would like to add my welcome to Connect along with @jesfactsmon and other members. I know this has to be difficult for you as well as your daughter when you can't get the answers as to why you have a condition like Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), also known as Devic disease. The National Organization for Rare Disorders has some information that you might find helpful to learn more about the condition - https://rarediseases.org/rare-diseases/neuromyelitis-optica/. From what I've read, they really don't know what causes NMO.
You mentioned your daughter has high levels of vitamin B6 in her blood but she does not take any supplements. Have you discussed it with her doctor to see if there are other underlying conditions that may be causing the elevated B6 levels?
@anghines
Hi there. Does your daughter also believe she has an auto immune disease? What are her symptoms? What was her doctor's feedback regarding her high B6 level? If you can provide more detail perhaps someone may have some feedback that might be of use to her. Best to you, Hank
