Low heart rate?

My 76 yr. old husband is suddenly having a very low heart rate of 32. Our cardiologist is increasing his lisinopril and he is to have a heart monitor this Wed. I was told to call 911 if his heart rate stayed in the 30's for 15 minutes. He has said he won't go to the hospital if I can't be with him. The other concern is after his heart rate goes back to normal, his blood pressure registers 180/80. Our doc said it's a balancing act to get the right dose of BP meds. Have any of you had this problem and if so, what did the doctor prescribe? thanks

Hi @jmb73, as you will see I moved your discussion to an ongoing conversation about low heart rate. You can click on VIEW and REPLY in your email to see it. The biggest benefit to incorporating like conversations is so that you can share your experience with others who have had similar medical histories. Has your husband had high blood pressure in the past?
