Hi I had my TKR on 12/15/20. I’m just over 10 weeks. I’m have complications but as far as the oxy it made me sick also but about the only thing that helped the pain . After 2 weeks I got a script of Norco and Motrin to make it through therapy. The Oxy was also raising my blood pressure. That burning sensation is terrible . I suffered with it for a few weeks and used ice. It went away but recently came back for a couple of weeks. I’m not sure what it’s from but wondering if is from intense exercise . Having problems with my bend. I see the surgeon tomorrow. I have lots of questions so I’ll see what he says about that burn . Take care. I’ll update you on info .

Anxious to hear what he says. I had a TKR one whole year ago, FEb 2020, and still have terrible burning pain in my knee quite often. . Still don’t have any answers as X-rays from 2 different orthopedic doctors show that “everything is fine.” Ice does not seem to help.

Hangin we all heal @ different times/length
I'm post opp 7mths now & have always struggled with burning pain.
More aware if l over do it burn heightens.
Lengthly walks is worst for escalating the burn. (Love being outdoors, but often have to say no)
Going to pool daily is my go too, happiness,
Woo reduces pain & freedom to bend!
I read your of those meds, well done!
All best with your healing, takecare.
