I am 7 months post TKR left side. I just started this burning pain. I try touching around on my,knee and holy cow it hurts. My surgeon took me out of PT after 2 1/2 weeks- stated all I need to do is ride stationary bike. He keeps saying I am doing well but my knee stills swell, limited motion, walk stiff legged, and just pure disgust. PA in his office agreed and wrote order for me to go back to PT for eval. Anyone else this far out like me????

I too still have a lot of burning and pain after ten months! Doc says X-rays look great but how can you tell if there is tissue or nerve damage underneath? I have also experienced much more pain in my feet since the knee replacement. Diagnosed with neuropathy. So now I am taking small dose of Gabapentin which helps a little bit but what to do about the knee. Am very discouraged because I was a very healthy and active gal before this surgery. Would icing and elevating help?
