Yes, I was there. We were only instructed about medicine of pain and ortho.
I have been using ice pack. I use RICE too. Today she has some relief from burning. She has nominal swelling.

......and thank you for responding @changu0. I am glad your Mom had a better night. Here's another of my questions. What medications does your Mom take at night? Do you think if she changed the time of her bedtime dose it might last through the night?
