I have moderate hearing loss with tinnitus, no hearing aids though. I have been taking Lipoflavinoid over the counter for a year. It doesn't take it away but in my words "calms' it. Before using this I read the reviews of people and decided to give it a try. Some it helped and some it didn't. I take 2 pills in the morning and 2 at night but starting is more. I've been debating about hearing aids especially with tinnitus.

I have tinnitus and "moderate" hearing loss and am in my trial period with expensive hearing aids ($3,000 each) and so far, despite a tinnitus-related sound from the hearing aids, it does not help the tinnitus.

My hearing aids totally erased my tinnitus but they are not cheap. My insurance would cover some of the cost but I prefer to stay with the provider I've had for many years. I noticed my hearing loss while I was still in high school.
