@merpreb lately I've been having heart palpitations going on a week. I have severe medical anxiety. Went to a cardiologist 3 years ago, did a stress test and they said it looked like I may have a blockage in the lower ventricle. He did an angiography and found ,in his words, your as clear as the day you were born. Something on the stress test must have been off. I was very happy about his findings. Now lately I've been having these palpitations. Went to the emergency room last night, they did an EKG, chest x-ray and blood work. Everything came back good, but because of the way the doc told me that I should follow up with my cardiologist and gave me a baby asprin now I'm still in panic mode am I just crazy??

Thank you for the reply. I have went through counseling and have the breathing techniques. Prozac has helped me the most along with counseling. I do exercise regularly but have a high stress job which brings out my palpitations on my anxiety. I really wanted to hear the the palpitations are from anxiety which is what my counselor and cardiologist have said; just need more reassurance that there is nothing wrong with my heart and this is a normal reaction to anxiety. Thank you again! Clint.
