Has anyone talk to you about immunodeficiency? You might need infusions of immunoglobulins, what they call IVIG. Talk with your hematologist about it. You might find it boosts your immune system. I have low immunoglobulins after lymphoma and stem cell transplants, the IVIG helps me ward off infections due to my compromised immune system. Wishing you the best of luck.

Spoke with my hematologist this morning. Received a requisition for additional bloodwork...if confirms past tests indicating immunodeficiency will discuss IVIG.
I'm new to Mayo Clinic Connect and find the input of you and others very helpful and supportive!

Have both MGUS & pernicious anemia. A recent massive PE. On reviewing recent blood work with my respirologist they noted my igg levels continue low across the board and asked if IVIG had been discussed...speaking with my hematologist today and will share what I can re: their recommendations.
