I think ENT doctors are glorified dermatologists. I have cancer in my throat that grew for at least six months before I saw an ENT. He is a surgeon. He went agressively after the cancer. He said that the cancer was in a nerve in the right side of my neck. My face now droops on that side making swallowing and taking pills very difficult. The water runs down my chin. He said he didn't get it all. I asked about radiation and he said he would talk with the tumor board once before surgery and again after surgery. I am currently trying to get a second opinion with the VA because they cured the same kind of cancer with only radiation in 2009.
@merpreb The right dr's are ANY dr's that even know what Eagle's Syndrome is and with any luck, have actually treated it.
Because of its rarity, it's extremely difficult to find help:(
