Hi,
I was intrigued by the toaster steak so I went online and whaddaya know! There are YouTube videos showing you how to do just that. Also ironing your steak and wrapping it and cooking it in a dishwasher lol. I would try it...cheap toaster outside.....It won’t pop up because it will be too heavy so be careful taking it out of the toaster and don’t touch metal prongs to the inside. You’ll have to do it a few times until you get the right doneness. Maybe you could find a toaster that has the wider opening for bagels, otherwise a thin cut will have to do. Don’t know how you would clean the toaster so I imagine after a while the grease buildup would start a fire.

Sounds safer than frying a whole turkey in oil. We did that once on vacation....delicious .

I like your username Mary. Very creative.
I knew the toaster steak was a good idea. I’m gonna check out those videos. I guess everything imaginable is on YouTube but I never think to go there. I thought it sounded like a good idea.
Off to YouTube I go for some inspiration.
Agatha Christie said “I don't think necessity is the mother of invention. Invention . . . arises directly from idleness, possibly also from laziness. To save oneself trouble. That’s my goal in the kitchen.
The guy who first invented the computer said he was to lazy to do the calculations so he invented the computer.
