@suerc Good for you! The dust is very bad for lungs, please take precautions. I've got asthma and anyone can get that, so prevention of breathing junk into your lungs is important. We breathe enough with air pollution and all actually have black flecks in our lungs permanently from that. Some stuff stays in your lungs even though your body throws phlegm at it trying the clear the mess. You might want to open the windows while you are cleaning that room as you will be stirring lots of dust into the air. It's probably everywhere in your house, not just the one room. I'm sorry your husband doesn't support you and makes comments about it. He probably doesn't understand the health consequences of living that way. It doesn't take much dust at all to shut my lungs down.

That is very true, @jenniferhunter. It is hard for someone to understand the impact of dust, etc., when they haven't experienced the health problems that we have.
Walking a mile in someone else's shoes makes their problems more understandable.
