I would also like to welcome you to Mayo Connect. I see from your post that you were in an accident and lost your sense of smell. I'm sure that must be frustrating for you. We never realize how much we depend on our senses until we lose one of them.

You do not mention this, but how long ago was the accident? Did you doctor(s) completely rule out any regeneration of those nerves that affect your sense of smell?
