I was the black sheep of my family and refused to accept the craziness to which I was exposed my entire life. I have PTSD from some childhood experiences, but it doesn't run my life anymore. I can usually respond in the current time and not relive my past. I have been successful in my second marriage of 36 years and in my professional life, from which I have now retired.
