Hand tremors
Hi Im not sure if this has been discussed before please point me in the right direction if it has. I ve been having hand tremors for a few years now and I reckon its getting worse. I have been on Chlolipmarine Hydrochloride for about 20 years for anxiety, depression and obsessive thinking. They have always worked for me but i think one of the side effects is hand tremors. Ive had blood tests and all ok there. the Doctor suggested coming off the CH and trying Sertraline, which I did but just felt like sleeping all the time, so back to CH. Its like Ive got too much adrenaline! It is worse in company and at work even though Im not stressed or anxious. As Im typing this my hands are shaking. It doesn't stop me doing anything but its annoying and I often have to drink holding the cup or glass with both hands and my writing is awful. My Uncle had awful hand tremors but was also on antidepressants, my mother too but less so. Any advice would be most welcome.

I had a really bad headache that day. I did some stuff but not a lot before the tremors kicked in.
Today, they started after my shower. And i also felt a weird vibration in both arms.

If you haven't reported this to your doctor please do so. This might provide some needed information so that the doctor can help you.

2 ReactionsHello, @jl1 -- I've had what I call the shakes in the hand but I'm not sure it's the same as hand tremors. Mine have occurred after drinking too much coffee on an empty stomach (I think). I don't think it's caused by over exerting but I really don't know. I did find some information that might be helpful on hand tremors.
What does it mean if you have shaky hands? (June 2018)

1 ReactionHey y'all, as I recollect with Spasmodic Torticollis, there are certain medications we were advised not to consume. Since I've had Selective Denervation for Spasmodic Torticollis, I've gotten lazy. I can't find that list now. I know one is a pain reliever you buy over the counter. Coffee is something I think we were suppose to avoid, but is one that I can't live without. Life without coffee, is life not worth living. It does make my neck hurt and pull more, but I have to consume Coffee!

My hands have started shaking lately. I have axonal sensory neuropathy, advancing at a scary rate. I'm having those 'needle sticks' in my back and face now. I better get moving on that bucket list I suppose ... Peggy
I'm not normally a grateful person. However, I do put symptoms in 2 categories: symptoms that hurt and symptoms that might be annoying but don't hurt. As annoying as tremors are, I'm just thankful they are painless. Just one more viewpoint to ponder.
