Hand tremors

I just found this discussion. I had a craniotomy for a brain tumor removal on August 28th 2018 and have had hand tremors ever since surgery. The tremors are in both hands and very noticeable especially when eating. I won't see my neurosurgeon again until March, 2019. Could this be related to the brain surgery and does anyone recommend being seen before March?

Hello @mrector

I appreciate your post about hand tremors. As I am not a medical professional I do not know if this symptom is related to your surgery or not. I would, however, certainly recommend that you contact your neurosurgeon's office by phone and let them know of the tremors. If it is related to your surgery, there may be meds or other therapies that could help.

You said that you have had this tremor ever since the August surgery, is that correct? Have the tremors become worse over time or have they stayed the same? Do you have the tremors when your hands are at rest or only when you use your hands (as you mentioned when eating)? These are important facts to give your doctor's office when you call.

Will you post again and let me know how you are doing?
