@karolyn your emotions have a lot to do with how you,ll react to the shot also. I,ve had these shots but try to keep the fear from overtaking me with that being said it hurts yes but the pain is gone almost right away and you can resume your day .What helps me now is either ice or a heating pad to my back.Like today Im on my heating pad .Try not to let your fear get the best of you .
