@guthealth Were you actually diagnosed with Cdiff or another type of colitis? And have you tried Inulin? My cardiologist suggested Inulin after I told him about the Cdiff relapses. Inulin feeds the good bacteria. I also take Vitamin D and have for years after having a melanoma removed almost 20 years ago. And I just started taking collagen a few months ago. My gastroenterologist is the one who told me to take Florastor which I believe is key to using the correct probiotic for Cdiff. Cdiff patients need a probiotic that will not dissolve with the acid in our stomach. The Cdiff spores live in the intestinal tracts and most probiotics do little to fight those.

I was initially diagnosed with CDiff but two tests were negative. I ended up with a SIBO diagnosis. I was told by my nutritionist that inulin is a no no for SIBO. I take guar gum fiber per her recommendation. It is a supplement called NutriSource. I take Florastor and Align and a bunch of other supplements as well.
