My husband had the ST. Jude/Abbott Proclaim--but the experience was not good. We don't know if the device was bad or if the implantation was not good. A friend down the street has the Proclaim and it has changed her life. In my husband's case the implant was done by a pain doctor, not a neurosurgeon. The reps could never program the thing to help him and he began to have increasing back and leg pain. Had the device removed--leads were out of place and broken out of their silicone sheaths. The generator migrated from its pocket--causing more discomfort. He is in increasing discomfort. Considering the Nevro HF10--but must be implanted by a neurosurgeon.
I’m not aware of that. I’ll have to look it up. They’ve given up trying
spinal cord stim on me. the next thing I’m going to try is peripheral nerve
stimulation. However it’s not readily available in Canada so I have to wait
til covid is over and come down to the states.might be a while .
