My lungs were completely filled with mucus and tested positive for candida which they don't treat anymore, so I bought Candida Cleanse and next bronch was clear, but for the damaged areas.Have you had fundiplication surgery? The gastro people go through many tests and can then treat the GERD more effectively, but they don't cover the throat.Look up Dr. jamie Koufman and her books on acid reflux.
