@mari hi mari I have groin pain but mine is due to my back do you have anything back problems?If ice doesn't help it and rest which is my experience I would go to your P.C.P they can advice you .Linda
No Linda, not my back. I was shoveling dirt and reaching to put dirt onto base of orange tree. Pain was not sudden but, day 2 and 3 have been extrodinally PAINFUL. Will get walker or cane and see Dr. today. Only Oxy can help this pain. Dyclofinac does not help.
@mari glad your going to Dr hope its not to bad let me know
wound up in hospital, will b discharged now. so stayed for 1 day. nothing broken - probably sprain - pain with slight Wrong move is 10. if I'm not doing something than no pain.
Has anyone experienced this severe pain with Every movement in groin? After X-ray and Cat scan - told I don't need MRI. But, only OXy given, 1 darn week at a time. Oxy makes it a little tolerable. Told to go home nd rest, like I have a choice ? Any Ideas?
@mari Lioness here I was told by Dr my groin burning pain is coming from my lower back that is pinching the nerves I have found that ice helps
Interesting cause PT that will start home health Care soon, said the same thing. What did u do for it besides ice? Any PT?
@mari I do alot of stretching lay the n your back and do this I use cbd cream on lower back ,then ice on groin I,ve also used my chiropractor he uses a Tens unit and ice on top leaves on 15 min.then adjust lower back I get relief this way also.
I've been getting groin pain - at least I think it's groin pain. In "searching" I found the bone from the pubic area to the leg ?????? is very tender. Is that considered "groin"???? I have it from trouble getting up from a chair because of my bad legs.
@shoregal45
Could you have strained the area?
It is VERY easy to do.
Walking, stretching, sqeezing on the toilet (sorry), walking, turning when asleep. Etc.
Try an ice pack for a few days and consciously stretch before getting out of bed and before getting up if you have been sitting too long.
If these things don't help after a reasonable amount of time, I suggest that you go to the doctor.
I am not a medical professional.
Good luck!
