@arlene618 I don't know about lungs, but I do know that with the liver (my husband transplanted 7/7/18) that it depends on what is called a MELD score (Measurement of end stage liver disease) plus blood type and body size.

Waiting is so hard. Prayers that you move up and get the call soon.

@jodeej I was w/o daring if you could help me with a question? My MELD is 30 my blood type O+. I've been waiting 16 months on the wait list. They tell me they are waiting for the right size. I'm not sure what size has to do with the transplant? I am a female 5'1". Is this what is holding me back?
