@jenniferhunter I've been following post and sounds like your healing I have a suggestion if you go back to boot put a soft cloth on both sides of your ankle that may help ,

@lioness The boot does have soft padding inside. It also has a hard shield on the front that bends at the ankle, so I tried it without that and it didn't help. I thought it was hitting me at the fracture point and it was held on by velcro. I could try a washcloth or something like that and see if it helps. I think it is the weight pulling on and rubbing the most sensitive places that hurts. My leg is pretty weak too and no muscle tone in my calf so the boot seems heavy to me. I couldn't see my calf move at all when I flexed it until just the other day. It has just a slight movement now probably from the weight bearing I have been doing. Recovery is slow.
