When I was teaching, many of my students enjoyed stained glass window coloring books. You could find different degrees of difficulty and they came in a variety of subjects, even seasonal. I don’t remember where we found them, though.
Colored pencils, crayons, even markers or colored pens work well.

I found this “Zenbroidery” and thought it would be a fun use of my scrap embroidery thread. Lucky I didn’t pay much for it because I am not enjoying it.
