Hi @kai. It sounds like you are interested in possibly explore Mayo Clinic should you require further ablation care. Of course, we wish you all the best of luck in this second ablation you are coming up on in a couple days.

However, to answer your question, Connect is not able to expedite scheduling of appointments, however, if ever interested, you can use the contact information on this form to request an appointment at Mayo Clinic http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63. They will review your medical records and history, and discuss with you treatment options.

Please keep us posted following this up-coming ablation and how you are doing. Do you feel prepared?

My second ablation has been successful for just shy of five years so far. I do not regret it for a minute. I was highly symptomatic and they discovered atypical atrial flutter which was corrected by the second ablation as well. Received excellent care at Mayo. Dr. Munger was absolutely wonderful and I learned on my dismissal from the hospital that they had used a new piece of equipment - I was their first using a new probe. Again, excellent place! My appointment was scheduled out for several months, but I found that calling to see if there were any cancellations on a weekly basis got me moved up twice.

thanks... definitely feel prepared...maybe have read too much on this, trying to understand why the first one didn't work considering I did not present as a complicated case...the doc seems confident... so hopefully this one has a better outcome..
