@syntax2002 I'm 46, male, 6'1" 220lbs. I have the exact same issue and frustrated to the point of now making an appointment with Mayo Clinic to see if they can find a solution. I've been checked for dysautonomia and that was negative. My issues mostly happen at night. I sleep with CPAP machine. If I wake up during middle of night and move just slightly. And I mean, just slightly... An arm or leg. My heart rate shoots up way over 100+bpm. It then comes down to normal 60 after a minute. But it is concerning. My doctors have claimed it is anxiety but it is not. Last year it got so bad every night that it caused my heart to go into AFIB.

I also get the same heart rate increase for just little things. If I stand up after sitting for awhile I get dizzy too and feel major palpitations.

I've had two DVT and PE blood clots recently and an AFIB episode but this heart rate issue precedes all that.

I'm on Multaq for afib and Bystolic beta blocker and Xarelto.

Good luck. I trust Mayo Clinic. The specialists talk to each other and talk to you for awhile.
