Hello @amber3212, I have small fiber peripheral neuropathy with only numbness in my feet and ankles. I have no medical training or background but I believe some of the symptoms your mother has could be those of small fiber polyneuropathy. Here is a page that lists some of the symptoms:

The EMG and skin biopsy are tests used to diagnose PN. Has your mother met with a neurologist?

Yes she is meeting with him for the follow up. They said the tests showed small fiber polyneuropathy. Thank you I will look that up! I was concerned of possible MS also.
