Isabeir, rely on God for your comfort. Remember as I said He did not have one pain pills or injection for His hours of beatings and nails in his wrists into a tree. I pray God gets me thru this short life. I am so tired of wasting my breath on begging for pain meds. U take Two IB Profrin PM at night. Sleep thru the night

Thanks Gail.
I suppose you are right and I need to stay ahead of the pain.
I was actually looking at the bottle today and it said take one every 4 hours.
That is 3 a day.
I was taking 1 a day, sometimes 2. Way below the prescribed amount.
I'm to up the game.
I cannot allow myself to suffer like this and then wait and hope the pain meds will work.
I did notice that I did wait for the pain meds to work.
I am sitting around now waiting for it to work, too.
Thanks
Ronnie

Hello!
Well, I started to up my pain meds.
I took 1 pill this morning and I'll take 1 tonight.
If this does not work, I'll add in the mid-day p ill.
I need to be pain free, even if it is only for a few hours during the day.
It's been so long since I've been totally painfree.

Wish me luck!

Thank you.
I took everyone's suggestions (kind of).
I added a late morning pill to the before bed pill.
If that works, fine.
If it doesn't work, then I'll add a mid-day pill.
Hopefully, that will do the trick.
I don't think I'd feel comfortable taking it every 4 hours.

Hi Linda,
I did listen and today I took 3 pills.
It did make a difference because I never got to the point that the pain got to be too much.
My hubby is the only one not happy about it.
His feeling is you take meds like this only when you need them.
I tried to explain why I need to take it more often.
We'll see how things go tomorrow.
Thanks again for your input,
Ronnie

@grandmar Well, you do need the meds. Perhaps a few days like you are doing will let your husband see that you are getting rest/getting better/more interactive/etc. and then understand. We can only hope so!

Good Morning,
Yes, I do need the pain meds.
I didn't expect this recovery to be as painful as it has been because my previous surgery was not too bad.
My hubby will go along with whatever is best for me.
Knowing him, he will just keep a closer eye on me and what I am doing.
