Hand surgeon said he is not happy with any of the devices for thumb replacement. He said he will only use my own tissue - moving the tendon down. I tried to get him to sign me up for the second surgery three months after the first, but he said I wouldn't want it that soon. He said give it six months. I'm going to get it done in January - after I've got the tulips planted.
