What medications are you on? I tried them all and eventually had a Medtronics Pain Pump implanted. Life Changing!
I was in a car accident 20+ years ago. The engine came back and crushed my legs and left requiring 26 jours of reconstructive surgery.
I've also had 2 ankle replacements.
I've tried every non-narcotic treatments but nothing helped so I've been on Percocet and now Norco.
I'm in a 12 step program that is is totally changing my life fir yhe better but I feel like a hypocrite.
@sadamma4 - 12 step programs certainly are a good support system for many people. But please do not beat yourself up for using pain medications to get through each day. We all deserve to be pain free as much as possible.
Ginger--Those of us who have experienced chronic pain know how twisted the road becomes sometimes along the journey. I am glad you are well enough to share your story with others. It's so easy to become addicted when all you want is for the pain to stop. Best of luck to you.
