2 ReactionsVery good advice Jim.
I just wanted to add...since you asked about natural herb remedies...there is a tea, called Smooth Move. It helps keep you regular, and perhaps cleaned out somewhat. Personally, I've used it, and was also told by 1 dr to stay on Metamucil. I have done so, but after a good while it didn't help. My Gastrointerologist put me on Linzess. Linzess has been great...no need for teas or added Metamucil, etc. No bad side effects...you take one pill in morning 30 minutes before anything to drink or eat. Shortly after one cup of coffee...nature kicks in, over and done. I eat everything...never had a problem since on it. The key is stay cleaned out...Linzess does it for me. Hth

2 ReactionsAppointment went well, Dr was very nice. Had labs done, seeing nutritionist on Friday. Dr wants me on low residue diet for now. The plan is to do some imaging and a colonoscopy to check on how things look on the inside.

1 ReactionHello @thull
I am so glad to hear that your appointment went well and that you liked the doctor. I'm pleased that you will be seeing a nutritionist tomorrow as well. You will undoubtedly get some good guidelines for healthy eating.
Will you keep in touch and send an update as you continue with treatment?
Will do! Thank you!
