I have heard at my DBSA group that Easter Seals offers all types of assistance, recommendations and information that might be helpful to you. You can call them and see what they can offer to you.
Your town may have some type of senior groups that can offer recommendations as well. I know where I live in NJ there is an active senior center and they have activities, meetings, indoor fairs where services are displayed and you can learn what is available, etc.
